Locust Bean (Carob) - Reseal

Locus beans also known as carob flakes are overlooked as a food for furry friends. They contain minerals, fibre and, above all, vitamin B. This natural animal feed is said to inhibit gastrointestinal inflammation. It can also inhibit the tumour formation of various types of cancer. The cells are protected against free radicals, the stomach and intestines are calmed and blood sugar levels can be lowered.

Carob is said to have a health-promoting effect on the stomach and intestines and can regulate digestion. It is therefore particularly recommended for animals with sensitive stomachs. The mucilage and tannins contained in carob can have an anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effect. Carob can also help with digestive problems such as diarrhoea. As carob is rich in fibre, it provides a pleasant feeling of satiety. It can also promote colon flora and stabilise blood sugar levels.
